Hi Elishia,
I believe you have a 1970's reproduction of mirror originally from the 1800's. If it is a reproduction it's worth around $25-75 dollars: Vintage coca cola mirrored sign Vintage wood framed coca cola mirror Vintage Glass Coca cola plaque mirror If original it would be worth quite a bit more, around $250-350 dollars. Here are some examples of non-reproduction coca cola mirrors: 5c Coca Cola sign mirror Hilda Clark 5c Coca Cola Vintage collectible mirror |

|
How would I be able to tell if it is a reproduction or not? | |
Estimated Value submitted by AntiquesNavigator Staff |
|
Original victorian era mirrors would have a battered frame due to their age and the silver on the back would have spotting. I'm fairly certain your mirror is a reproduction, but unless you know it's complete history it's sometimes hard to tell. |

RR SCHEIBE CONVERTO TABLE-TRAYSubmitted by: Pamela |
|
PLEASE HELPI found this table at a thrift store, thought it was so unique. I bought it and did some research since only part of the tag was showing. I came across your website and see that one sold last July for $200+, my question is that the photo of the table on the link on this website has the levers to fold and unfold the legs in a different place. Mine has them on the table itself, but the one on here has them on the edge. Please advise at to whether mine is older or newer and what it is worth. The table is in perfect working order, the legs show a little wear and the top needs to be polished somehow. I don't want to ruin it since I am unsure of the material used. Thank you! Hi Rachel,
The Los Angeles brewing company was founded in 1897 and was located on the L.A. River near Lincoln Park in Los Angeles CA. I believe it was purchased by Zobelein in 1907 and was used to make a line of beers called Eastside lager. This historical information would date your villeroy and Boch jug in the 1897-1907 time frame. Your beer jug is a great garage sale find and would be valued in the $300-500 dollar range. Very cool beer stein! Thanks for sharing it with us! |

The Wright Line old industrial card fileSubmitted by: Ben |
|
PLEASE HELPIt's a UNISTORALL made by The Wright Line Inc. All steel. Has 6 ball bearing drawers with 3 card file inserts each. Very smooth open/close on drawers! Also has a steel roll down front door on it. Tabour is the term? Top has an insert with a slight rubbery feel to it, so I supposed it was used as a table as well. It's maybe 4 feet wide and almost cube shaped. Sides and top are several inches wide. Perhaps it's fireproof? I sent pics to the company and none of the techs had never seen one. Everything is rounded which gives it a nice art deco feel. Any info is appreciated! Thanks, Ben Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Ben,
Very old file cabinets are made of wood, so your filing cabinet is probably from the 1950s to the 1970s. I don't know of any collectors of card file cabinets, but I'm sure they're out there! As far as value, I would say in the $100-150 dollar range. |

2 Copper Pitchers From San AntonioSubmitted by: Dee Dee |
|
PLEASE HELPMy parents lived in San Antonio, TX from 1953-1956. My father did translation work for individuals needing help with legal matters. He received these two pitchers as payment from someone who could not pay him. This individual was working at the construction site of the Alamo. He claimed that they came from the site. I did some research and the Alamo was under some renovations during that time period. I could not find any markings on them. They seem to be in good condition. On handle seems to have been replaced. They are very heavy. Is there any way to tell if they were from the Alamo time period? Thank-You! Submit your estimate of worth |
|
Estimated Value submitted by AntiquesNavigator Staff |
|
Hi Dee Dee,
Your copper pitchers certainly look hand made and perhaps from that period, however without documentation showing proof they were used at the alamo, that fact doesn't add to their value. It's probably more likely they were used as props at the alamo, so would represent copper pitchers from that area. They are still valuable, even without documentation linking them to use at the alamo fort. I would give your copper pitchers a value of $300-400 a piece. Thanks for sharing them with us, they're a wonderful piece of american history. |

We cleaned it up and it has awesome graphics! I am not sure if it is porcelain, it weighs about 70 lbs. On the front of the sign in small letters is G-59, maybe when it was made? antique secretary?Submitted by: laureen |
|
PLEASE HELPI have an antique which I would like to get identified and appraised. I did some research and it seems to be a secretary. It is 4 feet wide, 35 inches high and 15 inches deep. It is Mahogany and is engraved #28 on the bottom shelf. It has four drawers with the top drawer pulling out to a desk with cubby storage drawers. It is very heavy. So if some one could look at the pictures and tell me what they think I would greatly appreciate it. oh yes, I acquired this from a 90 year old woman who passed away. Her children remember this in their child hood so I am assuming this is about 60 years old. It also has two cabinets on either side with working skelton keys. Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Allison,
A little history about the Rockford Silver Co. It was originally called Racine Silver Co and was founded in 1873. When the original building burnt down in 1873 they moved the company to Rockford Illinois and assumed the name Rockford Silver Co. In 1925 a man of the name Raymond Sheets purchased Rockford Silver Co. and again changed the name, this time to Sheets-Rockford Silver Co. Your step mother's silver cup definitely has value. I would place it's value in the $25-75 dollar range. Here's a link to a similar Rockford silver co. cup that sold for $45 dollars: Rockford Silver Co. cup Thanks for sharing. |
