PLEASE HELPI have this beautiful bowl with a sunflower impressed inside. As you can see, the petal design carries onto the outside all the way around. There are no markings to identify where it came from and I don't know the time period. Now, I don't know what kind of metal it's made of, but it is smooth cut around the lip, cleans up well, has a very nice shine to it. Also has an almost resonating ring to it when struck with another metal. Also is non-magnetic. I'd be so grateful to find out where and when it was made and what it's made of. Thank you and have a blessed day. Submit your estimate of worth |

Vintage Kerosene (?) Oil Heater / Parlor StoveSubmitted by: Jen |
PLEASE HELPLooks like a Perfection Kerosene Oil Wick Burner/Heater but different. It is black & White with a cloverleaf design window in front, that part seems to be like a plastic-type material and is very brittle and yellowish now and cracked. The body material is made of some type of metal and it isn't very heavy, maybe 7 lbs? It is embossed/stamped: "Electric, Electric Oil Stove Co. Jackson, Mich. No. 1x and Reg. US Pat." It's in nice condition but unsure if it works or not. Was my late husbands and sat in our living room for many years as decoration. I don't know how old it is and I have not been able to find any information at all online or photos except for a note on Worthpoint from someone else looking for information on the stove as well because they couldn't find anything for information either. Antique Oil Parlor Stove- Kerosene HeaterSubmitted by: Jen |
PLEASE HELPHi, this was my late husband's and it was a decoration in our living room for many years (over 15). I don't know many details about it as he had it before we met but I can't find anything online or in books except a few tidbits about the company itself being in business from 1835-1955 (I think) and one other person on Worthpoint (website) that was looking for any information on the stove like I am. The stove is black and white, made of some sort of metal with a plastic-type cloverleaf window on the front. It looks like it has a wick-type of burner inside like a oil lantern would have and it looks like it would be usable but I haven't opened it. The window is brittle and one of it side is cracked. Otherwise it's in very nice condition. It weighs about 12 lbs and has the words: "Reg. U.S. PAT. OFF." embossed on the cloverleaf then "Electric No. 1x" and "Electric Oil Stove Co., Jackson, Mich. U.S.A." stamped and embossed on a metal tag on the bottom front. Thank you for any information! Submit your estimate of worth |

Egyptian Revival Furniture PieceSubmitted by: Wendy |
PLEASE HELPI have an antique Egyptian Pharoh sideboard/buffet/hutch I would like to sell. I'm attaching photos. I think its from the Victorian Egyptian Revival period (late 1800's to the mid 1920's) but that is just an educated guess. It's a solid sturdy piece with all four legs having the pharoh carving and lion paw feet. The inside in open space with no shelving or drawers. The piece also curves out on the sides towards the back. It might be mahogany wood. If you have any thoughts, insight or interest, please feel free to contact me. Blessings!
